QMU Raise the Roof for Mental Health

Every gig and performance that we had here for Celtic Connections 2019 was stunning and memorable in its own way, but on Sunday 3rd Feb Tom McGuire & The Brassholes absolutely smashed it out the park.

Whilst they were prepping for their immense set, we took the chance to get the band together for a photo to announce Glasgow QMU's new charity partners for 2019: MHF Live!

MHF Live are a new campaign from the one of Britain's longest running mental health charities the Mental Health Foundation. We are very excited about this partnership as their goal very much aligns with ours: to use live music as a way of raising awareness, raising money, and raising the roof for mental health.

So at every gig this year in the QMU we'll be asking for donations to MHF from bands, promoters, and gig-goers so that we can work together to make the music industry a happier, healthier place. If you'd like to learn more about MHF Live and the great events they have planned head over to:

Massive thanks to Tom and his team for squeezing in for this photo and showing support for the cause!
